Bath Festival of Children’s Literature Competition – OPEN NOW

‘Terrific Teens’  – Invent your own dynamic superhero!
Judge: Jeremy Strong, author of Cartoon Kid.
Entries by 22nd August

‘Imaginary Pet’ – If you had an imaginary pet, what would it be?
Judge: James Mayhew, illustrator of Katie in Scotland.
Entries by 29th August.

‘Fright Night’ – We challenge you to draw the creepiest creature!
Judge: David Grimstone, author of Undead Ed.
Entries by 12th September.

‘Dragons!’ – If you had your own dragon, what would it look like?
Judge: Cressida Cowell, author of How to Train Your Dragon.
Entries by 19th September.

All entries to be given to the Children’s Department in Waterstones Bath.

Entries to be drawn on A4 Paper. On the back of the drawing write the entrants name and age along with the name and contact details (E-mail or telephone number) of a parent or guardian. 

 
Winning entries will be displayed in the Waterstones window between 5 September and 2 October. 

The top three entries for each category will receive prizes from the Bath Festival of Children's Literature. 1st place wins £10 worth of Waterstones vouchers and a selection of brand new books. 2nd place win's the judges book and a festival goody bag and the 3rd place wins a festival goody bag.
